Checklist (The following must be included for your submission to be accepted)

1. A typewritten brief essay explaining:

• your personal connection to the topic and materials, for instance:
  • personal significance of the collection
  • how the collection was started
  • why the collection was started & maintained
• information about items of greatest interest

2. A typewritten bibliography of 10 or more books (maximum of 50) and an annotation for each item indicating the book’s significance to the collection. Please use the .

I agree that, if I am an honoree in the contest, I will lend at least 10 books from my collection to be exhibited in the Greenfield Library’s Lillian Vanous Nutt Room beginning February 2026, and I will provide a photograph of myself to be exhibited alongside the books.

I also agree to allow my essay to be exhibited at the Library and included on the Library’s website.
