Archetypes: The patterns of God鈥檚 and Satan鈥檚 Activity
Over the course of fifty years dedicated to studying and teaching the biblical narrative, I’ve observed recurring themes in Scripture. In my book, Megathemes of Scripture, I explored these megathemes, which are profound truths evident in all the stories of Scripture but never explicitly stated. However, I’ve also noticed that God and Satan exhibit consistent patterns of behavior, archetypes, that they employ to achieve their objectives in the world. By recognizing these archetypes, we can gain deeper insights into Scripture and discern the work of God and Satan in our own lives. I hope this work will inspire you to delve into God’s Word, fostering greater awareness of the spiritual conflict in the world today and the patterns employed by God and Satan to accomplish their goals.
